Altenew Layered Rose Die Card

This card I felt was a really easy card, I have used the new Alternew layered die set I have purchased recently. My next idea to use this die is going to be a lot more complicated, so you should look out for this one.

I decided to start trying some different colour versions of this, I tried from light to dark and dark to light but definitely thought the lightest colour at the bottom and the darkest colour as the outline was my preferred version. Since I had different coloured roses in the end, I decided to make a card with them.

I made a coloured card base, this one I used lemon card.  I made a white card panel for the flowers to go onto, so I made a stitched scalloped edge using the memory box country stitched border dies.  I mounted this on some craft foam and onto my card base.

I then organised my 4 different coloured roses and some leaves into a diagonal arrangement leaving the bottom free for my sentiment. I glued the leaves and two of the roses down onto the card panel, and the other two roses I used foam tape or foam tape and glue to glue them on.

The sentiment I cut out two white and one gold die cut of the ‘Wishing’ die and mounted them on top of each other, with the gold on top. I stamped a secondary sentiment from the stamp set that goes with the Wishing die, on black card with white embossing powder, and put a tiny stripe of the gold card at the bottom of the trimmed sentiment.

So quite quick and easy once I had made the roses with the dies.

The video on making the card is below, or if you prefer to watch in full HD then my You tube channel is here.

I really love how the rose looked after the layering. Looks almost 3D. Where can I get the die/stamp?
